Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To improve thermal effeciency by a method wherein heating temperature, heat value and rotation of a fan are controlled by a computer, in a water heater which heats stored warm water. CONSTITUTION:A solar heat storage type instantaneous water heater 1 incorporates therein a warm-water storage tank 2, water heater 3 and feed water tank 4. A balancing ratio for a combination of a forced intake/exhaust by variation of revolving speed of a fan 7 and a flow rate adjustment by a temperature-type flow control solenoid valve 8 based on the heat value due to temperature difference, is prememorized and pre-operated in a micro-computer device 9 for effecting an automatically controlled operations, whereby it is ensured that the heating output of the interior of a combustion chamber 6 is enhanced, perfect combustion is achieved, the heat absorbing factor of a heat exchanger 5 is enhanced, generation of CO is prevented and a required amount of hot water of a stabilized temperature is supplied at any desired time. Enhancing the heating output in the combustion chamber 6 by a balanced combination of forced secondary air and the heat value leads to an improved thermal efficiency and a reduced energy consumption.
