Thermosensitive type information recorder
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To accomplish accurate recording of information with a good resolution by means of a return circuit electrode arranged on the sheet base member separated at a given distance from the recording electrode in the recorder employing a transfer sheet with a hot melting conductive ink layer. CONSTITUTION:Signal current is fed to the recording electrode 24 based on the information to be recorded while the transfer sheet 20 and the plain paper 23 are being conveyed in the direction of the allow B. Here, as the base member 21 has a high conductivity only thicknesswise, the current flows concentratedly right below the recording electrode, diffuses the ink layer 22 and then, returns to the return circuit electrode 26. The current causes a particularly large joule heat in the ink layer E so as to melt the ink layer E alone right below the recording electrode 24, whereby the sheet is transferred onto the plain paper as shown by F with the pressing of the roller 27. The recording action is performed with the recording electrode 24 moving orthogonally to the conveying direction of the transfer sheet 20, thereby gathering the dots.
