Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To increase sound volume of a buzzer for an electronic timepiece using a glass of high hardness as its diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:Front glass 11 of the timepiece uses hard glass, and to its internal surface, piezoelectric element 14 for vibrating glass 11 is bonded. In this case, the attenuation of vibration inside of the glass is reduced, so that even the glass is thick, sufficient sound volume is obtained.
