Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To simplify the unit and to lower the cost, by forming the line between the subscriber and the central unit with manual operation. CONSTITUTION: When the subscriber requiring the data trasmission dials the selection number of the central unit and calls out the central unit, announcement is made to the subscriber. When the subscriber depresses the manual switch according to the instruction of the announcement, the specified signal from the central unit is fed to the signal detection section, and the transmissionline is switched from the telephone set to the data transmission section. The subscriber ON-hooks when the signal from the central unit is not heard. After a given time elasped, the data transmission is started. When the specified data transmission is finished, the transmission end signal is output from the data transmission section, and the transmission line is switched to the telephone set side and the line is released.
