Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a composition for mucosa administration to be usefully applied to the mucosa, the vagina, etc., having improved absorption ratio by the mucosa, by adding a specific acid to a physiologically active high polymer substance having a molecular weight about 500W150,000. CONSTITUTION: The titled aqueous liquid composition comprising a physiologically active high polymer substance (e.g., peptide, enzyme, polysaccharide, etc.) having a molecular weight about 500W150,00 and about 0.01W0.3wt% based on total composition specific acid, e.g., 1W6C lower saturated fatty acid; lower aliphatic oxycarboxylic acid; one or more inorganic acids selected from the group consisting of hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, nitric acid, phospho-tungstic acid, perchloric acid, etc. This composition can be used by mucosa application free from inactivation caused by oral administration and complexity, pain, etc. resulting from injection. The physiologically active high polymer substance is absorbed extremely quickly by mucosa administration and an amount of the acid is very small. COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
