Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To realize not only the wide-band characteristics but a reduction of standing wave ratio, by decreasing the width of the spiral line in terms of the exponent and function as it goes further away from the feeding part and also providing the impedance matching part within the spiral line. CONSTITUTION:The 1/2 wavelength of the maximum using frequency is set between the parts 15 and 16 as well as between 17 and 18, and the exponent/function curve is secured between the parts 16 and 19 as well as 18 and 20, respectively. And then a certain width of line is set between the parts 19 and 20 and the terminals 13 and 12, respectively. As a result, the impedance between the input terminals 10 and 11 becomes 50OMEGA regardless of the frequency and over a wide band, thus securing a direct connection to a 50OMEGA-coaxial line.
