Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To make sure knocking decision possible, by integrating the signal of frequency components corresponding to knocking of vibration components of an engine for every prescribed crank angle width and by comparing the integration value with a reference level. CONSTITUTION: This detecting unit is constituted by vibration sensor 1, sensor processing part 100, smoothing part 200, comparing part 300, and knocking strength detecting part 400. When receiving the signal from knocking strength detecting part 400, the ignition time control unit consisting of operating part 500, frequency/ voltage converting part 600, and equal lead angle control part 700 outputs a corrected ignition time signal to ignition coil 3 through ignition coil driving part 2. Then, the ignition instruction signal driven by the engine is input from ignition signal input part 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
