Silver halide color photosensitive material
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent fading of a color image formed on a photosensitive material due to light by adding polymer coupler latex impregnated with specified phenol compounds and hydroquinones to the silver halide emulsion layer of the material. CONSTITUTION:Latex particles in magenta color image forming polymer coupler latex are impregnated with phenol compounds each having ether bonds at the p- positions and represented by formula I, etc., e.g. 2-t-cotyl-4-n-hexyloxyphenol and hydroquinones each having a substituent contg. >=8C atoms and represented by formula II, e.g., 2,5-di-tert.-octylhydroquinone. This polymer coupler latex is mixed into a silver halide emulsion and coated onto a support to obtain a photosensitive material forming a color image fast to light, heat and moisture in color photography after development.
