Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To eliminate mistaken processing in formation of multiple page transcript or its abstract, or the like, by causing a copier to operate always in a one to one mode when pripheral equipments are turned on. CONSTITUTION:When the copy tray of a copier is removed and connected with a transcript or an abstract binder or the like, input and output port I/O is connected with electronic equipment 22 of the binder. The binder folds copies discharged from the copier upon turning on the operation section, stores them in a stacking section, binds a given number of copies and discharges them as transcripts or their abstracts after sealing. In that case, CPU receives the signal that the binder is binding the transcripts or the abstracts from equipment 22 through I/O, and, even if repeat copy numbers set on number setting keys SW1-SW10 are plural, CPU sets each of them to 1, converting a plural number copying mode into a one to one mode, and permitting one sheet copy to be formed from each of originals, and thus mistaken processing in binding of plural pages of a transcript or abstract to be eliminated.
