Color ceramic and color frit composition

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a color ceramic and color frit composition which is suitable for glazing to automobile window pane and less in the lowering of strength as compared with the conventional ones and which consists of a heat-resistant color pigment powder and a low-melting glass powddr containing specific components, e.g., SiO 2 , Al 2 O 3 , etc. CONSTITUTION: The color ceramic and color frit composition consists of a well- known heat-resistant color pigment powder, e.g., MnO 2 , CaO, etc., and a low- melting glass powder having 5W20wt% SiO 2 , 0.5W10wt% Al 2 O 3 , 0.52W65wt% ZnO, 15W30wt% BaO, 0.1W10wt% Na 2 O+K 2 O+Li 2 O, 0.5W15wt% MgO+CaO+ BaO, 0W5wt% TiO 2 +SnO, and 0W2wt% F. The composition is less in the lowering of mechanical strength than the conventional ones and thus is effectively applicable to the window glass plate of automobile.
