Constructing material for shore protection
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a shore protection material abounding in durabilty by a mechanism wherein an outer circumference of a coarse aggregate layer into which a mineral material such as broken stone is filled is covered with an asphalt mixture layer strengthened by a cage body. CONSTITUTION: A coarse aggregate layer 1 is formed by filling a mineral material, such as ballast, broken stone 12, etc. to the inside, and the outer circumference is covered with an asphalt mixture layer 3 strengthened by a cage body 4 while the end portions of members 6 for connection, the most portion thereof is buried in the both layers, are exposed on an outer circumference of the asphalt mixture. A plurality of scuppers 7 reaching to the coarse aggregate layer 1 are formed at proper locations at two sides of the said asphalt mixture layer 3. Thus, a constructing material for shore protection, which sufficiently gives flexibility and is excellent in prevention for washing digging or the effect of spur dike works, shape thereof is not broken and which abounds in durability, is obtained.
