Magnetic head and its manufacture
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To effectively increase the yield rate, by providing a gap very effectively between the circuit elements consisting of at least two types of ferromagnetic substance of oxide, and filling in a gravity hardening glass in this gap through melting and flowing. CONSTITUTION: A groove 2 is formed on one side of sintered oxide magnetic substance, such as ferrite material 1, and after finishing the gap surface 3 further, a vapor deposited film 4 such as SiO is formed to a given thickness as a spacer. Next, it is combined with an another ferrite material 5, it is clipped with pressing jigs 6 and 7, and further, it is assembled on a stand plate 11 with wedges 9, 10 together with a pressing member 8, as required. Next, a prescribed amount of glass or enamel 12 having ≤900°C softening point is inserted and contacted to gaps 13, 14 with power, rod or plate shape, and said assembly is turned around and piled up by locating the gaps almost vertically. After that, the entire assembly is heated to a temperature more than the softening point of glass or enamel, and the glass or enamel is melted and flowed to the gaps with gravity.
