Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To increase the operationability, by providing the dial keyboard switch on the transmission and reception side of the grip of handset of the telephone set mounted in a car and on the opposing side. CONSTITUTION:When the driver himself operates during driving, after the handset key 14 is depressed while locating the handset 8 on the main body, the key on the keybaord 13 is depressed for dial operation, and transmission and reception can be made by using the speaker 15 and microphone 16 of the main body 7. Accordingly, the operation can be made by one hand only, thereby avoiding any interference to the drive operation of the car. Further, when a fellow passenger on the motorman seat makes operation, after the handset 8 is picked up from the main body 7, the key on the keybaord 12 on the handset surface is depressed for dial operation and the call can be made without passing the handset 8 from one hand to the other.
