Sheet positioning apparatus in sheet feeder

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To prevent interference in carrying in and out sheet and eliminate breakage due to collision by fitting a device for positioning sheet correctly and certainly on sheet feeders which are used in large numbers such as in steel plate pressing lines. CONSTITUTION: At the front surface of a front stopper 10 in front of a conveyor 3, a shock absorber mechanism 30 for softening the impact force for a sheet 4 is mounted. When the sheet 4 is conveyed into a front stage 1, a front stopper 10 is at the stop position, while a rear stopper 11 formed at the rear of the conveyor 3 is at waiting position, and when the sheet 4 arrives at the front stage 1, the stopper 11 stands up and comes to the stop position. When the sheet is carried out from the front stage 1 to the next stage for example onto a mold, the front stopper 10 flees to the waiting position. COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
