Incinerator
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent generation of exhaust gas of a high temperature in an incinerator wherein matter disposed such as city trash and so on stored in bit is fed onto fire grate for combustion by interrupting the feeding of matter disposed for a predetermined time period when the exhaust gas temperature becomes higher than a preset value. CONSTITUTION:An incinerator for burning city trash and so on generally includes the first feeding means 4 comprising a grabbing backet for feeding intermittently matter disposed from a pit 1 to hopper 5 through which matter disposed is thrown into the incinerator, and the second feeding means 6 of a pusher type for feeding intermittently matter disposed from the hopper 5 to a fire grate 9 indise of the incinerator. In accordance with this invention, the feeding rate of matter disposed per unit time period into the hopper 5 by the first feeding means 4 is detected by a sensor 24. If the sensor 25 detects that the feeding rate is higher than a predetermined level, an actuator 12 for the second feeding means 6 and a drying range fire grate 9 stops automatically for a predetermined time period. Another actuator 13 for the burning range fire grate 9 stops automatically when the output of exhaust gas temperature sensor 25 exceeds a predetermined value.
