Cold rolled steel sheet having superior deep drawability

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To provide a cold rolled steel sheet having superior surface properties and high deep drawability by regulating the S and O contents and the Ti to (C+ N+S+O) atomic concn. ratio of a steel sheet of a specified composition contg. C, Ti, etc. to predetermined values. CONSTITUTION: This cold rolled steel sheet contains 0.01W0.03% C, ≤0.45% Mn, ≤0.04% sol. Al, 0.02W3% Ti, 0.3W0.5% Cr, ≤0.015% S and ≤0.009% O other than the balance Fe and inevitable impurities and has a Ti to (C+N+S+O) atomic concn. ratio of 0.8W2. The steel has high cleanliness and high deep drawability, and it is well balanced between strength and ductility. When a galvanized steel sheet is manufactured, by regulating the impurity Si content to less than 0.03%, deterioration of the adhesion of a galvanized film is prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
