Scanning current control device for projection-type television light source

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To ensure a precise color convergence control on the projection surface of the projection-type color TV, by providing the photoelectric transducer or the optical fiber onto the screen surface to lead the light to the photoelectric transducer and then detecting the receiving positions of three colors to give a correction to the misconvergence. CONSTITUTION:The end faces 7R1, 7R2 and 7R3 of optical fibers 8R1, 8R2 and 8R3 each are arranged horizontally to the B among three colors. In the same way, the end faces 7R4 and 7R5 of two optical fibers are arranged in the vertical direction. At the same time, the 7G and 7B are distributed in both the horizontal and vertical directions for other colors. The same constitution is given also to other three corners. The beams led by three optical fibers 8R1-8R3 detect the extent of position deviation for the pattern of red color via the photodiodes 9R1-9R3 functioning as the photoelectric transducers each, amplifiers 10R1-10R3 plus the signal level compounder 11R. Then the corrected deflecting current is flowed to carry out a correction of convergence to the color R in the horizontal direction and at the upper left corner.
