Resetting method and its device for electronic control type controller

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To prevent the malfunction in the process of the program, by carrying out the initial resetting when the powe supply is made and then giving a resetting by the time resetting circuit. CONSTITUTION: The time resetting circuit 4 is constituted to function as a pulse generating circuit which incorporates the oscillator 7 to deliver the slow positive pulses once in several minutes with closure of the key switch 6. With make of the switch 6, the power supply is made for the digital computer 1. And at the same time, the positive pulse is delivered from the initial resetting circuit 3, and the output of the OR circuit 2 becomes high to reset the computer 1. After the resetting, the positive pulses are delivered once in several minutes from the circuit 4. And thus the output level of the circuit 2 becomes high with every supply of these pulses to the circuit 2. As a result, the computer 1 is reset automatically once in several minutes. Accordingly, the resetting is applied in several minutes even though the program may have a runaway, thus ensuring the normal program. COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
