Cathode-ray tube
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent exactly the deterioration of definition of image by providing a shield electrodes in which at least one of counter electrodes is provided with an off-centered electron beam-passing hole. CONSTITUTION:The holes 4d and 5a provided on both sides of the upper electrode 4A and the holes provided on both sides of the first shield electrode 5 are off- centered at respective apertures, and the centers of the fourth grids 6a and 7a and 6c and 7c are, respectively, arranged on the same central axises S, S. A much less astigmated eccentric lens is formed between the holes 4d and 6a on both sides of the upper electrode 4A and between the holes 4f and 6c on both sides of the fourth grid 6, and electron beams passing through the portions are deflected toward the central electron beam side, permitting three beams to be focused on one point of a screen.
