Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a uniform lithium tantalate thin film having preferable reproducibility by feeding steam at the time of pyrolytically decomposing after hydrolyzing by utilizing the hydrolysis of organic compound. CONSTITUTION:A lithium tantalate monocrystalline film is grown on a lithium niobate monocrystalline plate, thereby obtaining the surface elastic wave piezoelectric substrate. In this case the lithium tantalate monocrystalline film is grown by the liquid phase synthesis according to the hydrolysis of organic metallic compound.
