Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the fork pipes of a motorcycle from sinking into the bottle cases, by giving synchronous to braking pressing pressure to the brake elements that fit the outsides of the fork pipes by means of braking hydraulic pressure while the front fork pipes are contracting. CONSTITUTION:Upon operating the lever 12 of a master cylinder 11 to brake the front wheel to the direction as marked by the arrow in the figure, braking hydraulic pressure 8 is supplied to a caliper 8 through a brake pipe 7 and a brake disk 9 is snatched. At this time the pressure in the braking hydraulic pressure enters the annular hydraulic pressure chamber 5 of a bottom case 1 from a connection member 6, and presses inside a braking element 3 which is formed with an elastic material such as rubber through a strong elastic body such as metallic plate, and this obstructs the sliding of a fork pipe 2 inserted slidably in a bottom case 1, and prevents sinking action of the fork pipe 2 when sudden braking is applied.
