Information recording system of optical disk

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To improve the precision of tracking operation with the same simple constitution with reproduction by previously formating a pit line on a optical disk and by recording information while tracking the pin line. CONSTITUTION: Pit line 1 consists of pits 2 of fixed diameter arrayed at constant pitch (m). In manufacture of an optical disk, this pit line 1 can be formed by easy and highly precise work such as press. Then, while pits 3 are tracked by an optical head, the optical disk with pit line 1 previously formated is newly perforated with laser beam light in accordance with information to be recorded between respective pits 2 of pit line 1, recording the information. In the recording example in the figure, pit 3 is bored for information "1", and nothing for "0". COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
