Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To prevent corrosion in the movable part of a diaphragm-type solenoid valve, by providing two diaphragms, in which one of the two diaphragms is integrally constructed with the valve and the other is screw-secured to said valve, and forming a vent hole linked to the outside between the both diaphragms. CONSTITUTION: Two diaphragms are fixed in such a method that the first diaphragm 12 is integrally constructed with a diaphragm valve 11 and the second diaphragm 13 is secured to said valve 11 by screw-mounting the female screw of the diaphragm 13 to the male screw formed on a stem of the diaphragm valve 11. Between the first and second diaphragms 12, 13 a spacer ring 17 is inserted in which an externally linking vent hole 14 is provided. In this constitution, infiltrating fluid from the first diaphragm 12 is diluted by the vent hole 14 and diffused to the outside. While infiltrating corrosive fluid from the second diaphragm 13, being of fine quantity further being blocked by the screw tightening of the second diaphragm 13 to the stem of the valve 11, never leaks from a gap, thus capable of preventing corrosion at the movable part.
