Lens antenna equipment
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To use this equipment extending over a frequency band exceeding one octave, by providing in parallel plural lens parts as the space between the radiation elements is left narrow, in a lens attenna equipment which is used for the microwave band. CONSTITUTION:Lenses A, B are provided in parallel on the radiation elements 11, 12,-1P which have been arrayed linearly or circularly. In the lens parts A, B, the power receiving element 41, 43,-4P-1 and 42, 44,-4P are formed by electric conductor print. These elements 41, 43,-4P-1, 42, 44,-4P are connected in order to the corresponding elements 11, 13,-1P-1, 12, 14,-1P. Subsequently, the power supply elements 61, 61, 62, 62,-6N of the lens parts A, B are connected to the power distributors 81, 82,-8N through the feeder line of the same length. Acording to this arrangement, the opening length 2a of the elements 41-4P can be made about two times as wide as the elements space S of the elements 11-1P. In this way, a wide band characteristic can be obtained in a state that a harmful interference fringe has been removed.
