Pattern forming method for decoration

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To easily form the patterns having rugged feel of a wide variety by coating a mixed solution dissolved with a polymer into a solution having compatibility with external cladding plates and comprising two or more kinds of different boiling points, and drying this coating film. CONSTITUTION: A solvent such as acetone of a low boiling point and a solvent such as xylene of a high boiling point, these having compatibility with the surfaces of external cladding plates for buildings, etc. are mixed at 3:7W7:3 proportions. The mixed solution prepared by dissolving a polymer such as acrylic or vinyl acetate to this mixed solvent is coated on said surfaces. If the coating film thus formed is dried, uneven drying occurs on the coated surface because of the presence of a difference in boiling point between the solvents in the mixed solution, whereby the decorative patterns having rugged feel of a wide variety are formed on the coated surface.
