Automatic constant temperature heater
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To perform comfortable heating by making it possible always to deliver a warm wind having a constant temperature and to radiate for infrared rays using the automatic constant temperature heatr, wherein a heater is formed of a strong dielectric material obtained by calcinating a mixture containing as the major constituent barium titanate or the like, and a far infrared ray generating element is calcined on a front surface of the heater. CONSTITUTION: When a fan 6 is rotated by a motor 5, air sucked from an inlet 8 will be blowen toward a heater 9. The heater 9 is a ceramic heater which is obtained, for example, by mixing barium titanate or Rochelle salt with a suitable amount of kaoline and calcinating the mixture, and the front surface of the heater 9 is coated with the far infrared ray generating element 19 which is obtained by calcinating a glaze containing as major constituents silicon oxide, aluminum oxide, zirconium oxide etc. Thus when electric power is applied to the heater 9 through terminal plates 10, 11, its temperature will be gradually raised, but will not raised above an inherent transition point of 393°K, and therefore a warm wind having a constant temperature will be delivered. Further, far infrared rays will be radiated from the element 19 to warm directly the portion adjacent to the heater. COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
