Proportional solenoid
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To miniaturize the proportional solenoid and to rotate a rotary shaft thereof at turning angles proportional to a current value by a method wherein a rotary magnet is made to rotate at angles within 180° by the magnetic field of a stationary coil part, and the turning angles is settled by the ballance between the turning force and stability of a torsion bar. CONSTITUTION: The rotary magnet 10 is made to rotate at the angles within 180° by the magnetic field of the stationary coil part 17. The turning angles thereof is settled by the ballance between the turning force of rotary magnet 10 and stability of the torsion bar 20. When a flow control valve is made to operate in connection with a rotary shaft 3 of the rotary magnet 10, flow control of large capacity can be performed with the small-sized apparatus. Because the movable part performs not rectilear motion but rotation, so that a large change can be performed. Accordingly, the proportional solenoid can be made to be small size, and the rotary shaft can be rotated at the turning angles proportional to the current value. COPYRIGHT: (C)1981,JPO&Japio
