Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To enable transfer of print onto an indentation of an uneven surface of an object to be achieved without making adjustment (or levelling) of the uneven surface by polishing with an emerry paper, etc., but by forming a thermoplastic resin layer on the uneven surface of the object, piling on it a transfer sheet provided with thermoplastic system transfer layer, and then, heating and compressing thus prepared layer. CONSTITUTION: A primer layer 3 is provided on the surface of a base material 2 constituting a plate-like object 1 on which transfer of print is done. Granular objects are attached onto thus prepared surface to provide an uneven surface of an object on which an indentation 5 is formed. On this uneven surface of the plate-like object 1, a thermoplastic resin is applied as thin as 130W180 g/m 2 to form a clear thermoplastic resin layer 6. On the other hand, a sealer layer 9, an exfoliation layer 10 and an alkyd system thermoplastic resin system transfer ink layer 11 and piled onto the surface of a paper 8 one after another to provide a transfer sheet 7. This sheet 7 is piled onto the resin layer 6 of the plate-like object 1 keeping the ink layer on the bottom side, and put together by heating and compressing. And then, the paper 8 is exfoliated.
