Remote control device for air conditioner

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To make possible the utilization of a transmitter as a desk-top calculator or a room temperature indicator when required by a method wherein an arithmatic circuit, a temperature indication controller and an indicating portion are incorported with a transmitter for use in remotely controlling an air conditioner. CONSTITUTION: If a change-over switch 12 is closed on the side of an outgoing circuit 11, and if the temperature is set by an operating portion 9, the outgoing circuit 11 is actuated responding to this operation, and an air conditioner is controlled by a signal transmitted. If the change-over switch 12 is closed on the side of an operational circuit 18, the change-over contact point of an indication portion 20 is closed on the side of the operational side 18, and the operating portion 9 can thus be used as a desk-top calculator.
