Radiation picture information reader
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To improve the converging efficiency and S/N ratio of a radiation picture information reader by employing light transmitting means made of a photoconductive sheet. CONSTITUTION: Light transmitting means 12 provided between a storage fluorescent plate 11 and a light detector 13 is formed of the shape having a linear state at one end surface 12a and a surface contacting the light receiving surface of the detector 13 at the other end surface 12b by thermally treating, pressing and casting synthetic resin such as a polymethyl methacrylate resin plate, a transparent vinyl chloride resin, polycarbonate resin, polyester resin, epoxy resin, etc., or glass. Thus, weak light irradiated from a storage fluorescent plate 11 by the scanned beam from a laser light source 15 deflected by a light deflector 14 is efficiently converged by the light transmitting means 12 and incident efficiently to the light detector 13.
