Processing method of x-ray image
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To improve diagnosis performance, by emphasizing a very low frequency component effective for diagnosis and by intensifying contrast. CONSTITUTION: An original photograph 1, on which an X-ray image is recorded, is fitted on the peripheral surface of a transparent drum 2. Light from a reading light source 3 is made into a beam, which is irradiated upon the original photograph 1. The beam having permeated the photograph passes through an aperture 3a and enters into a photoelectric converter 4, which changes the beam into an electric signal. This signal is stored on a magnetic tape 7 through an amplifier 5 and an A/D converter 6. The digital signal stored on the tape 7 is operated by a calculator 8 to emphasize the very low frequency component of the signal and reduce its high frequency component. The result of the operation is applied to a recording light source 11 through a A/D converter 9 and an amplifier 10 to make a copied photograph 13. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
