Plastic bender

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To provide a device capable of a correct and easy bending work by a method wherein a table is arranged in horizontal positions in front of and in the rear of a heater and at least one side of the tables can be rotated for bending a plastic plate. CONSTITUTION: With a rotary rear table 33 in a horizontal position, a power switch 29 is turned on. A plastic plate to be worked is put on a fixed front table 30 and the table 33, the portion to be folded of the plate being located on a pipe heater 43. After the portion to be folded is softened under heating by the pipe heater 43 being heated, a handle 39 is rotated to retract the heater downward, and the plate is folded by setting the table 33 at a predetermined folding angle. Then, the heater 43 is turned off automatically, and the dolded portion is cooled, to complete the predetermined work. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
