Linear pulse motor
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To increase torque by improving durability through the use of an endless wire as a moving body and forming the tips of the magnetic pole teeth of a field stator core in curved faces of curvature corresponding to the outer form of the wire. CONSTITUTION: On a field stator core 1 with magnetic pole teeth 2 and 3, field coils 4 and 5 are wound. Facing the field core, an endless wire 6 is hanged on fixed pulleys 7 and 8. On the endless wire 6, permanent magnets 9 are magnetized at equal intervals, the length of the magnetic poles l 1 is determined to be a half of a magnet pole interval l 3 and a distance between the centers of the magnet pole teeth 2 and 3, l 2 , is selected to be of a prescribed relation to l 1 and l 3 . The width l 4 of the magnet pole teeth is formed to be in a relation l 4 ≪l 1 . By flowing a current alternately through the coils 4 and 5, the wire 6 is moved in a prescribed direction. By so doing, durability is improved and the occurrence of errors of pitch shifting, etc., can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
