Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To secure an application for the digital exchange system in a wide range of the communication modes by allotting the comparatively short and long correspondence into the ''instant'' and ''cumulative'' modes each and then giving the priority to the instant communication mode. CONSTITUTION:The correspondence to be sent to terminal storage node TN from terminal T contains identification information 1 such as the address or the like, correspondence main body 2 plus mode identifier 3 which displays instant communication mode MO1 or cumulative communication mode MO2. Processor P of TN examinesidentifier 3 for the correspondence received from T and memorizes the correspondence in buffer memory BM1 and BM2 according to the display of MO1 and MO2. Then processor P reads out the codntents of BM1 in preference to BM2, and the contents of BM1 is sent to repeating exchange node SN via circuit control unit LC. In case the contents of BM1 and BM2 are sent to SN, the control is given through TN so that the local traffic concentration may be avoided within the excharge network.
