Detector for clearance between absorbing type magnetic floating running body and rail

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To improve the performance by using a pair of gap sensors. CONSTITUTION: A pair of the induction type gap sensors 3 1 ,3 2 are fitted to the absorption type magnetic floating running body with the fixture 4, apart toward the same direction with greater distance than the amount of clearance toward rail of the air gap section 2 at the joint of the rails 1,1, and they are connected to the diodes D 1 and D 2 in the low voltage detection circuit. Thus, when a pair of the gap sensors 3 1 and 3 2 are moved toward the arrow, the voltage signals e 1 and e 2 detecting the joint of the rails 1,1 as convex shape are obtained from the independing detective operation of the gap sensors 3 1 and 3 2 , and they are inputted to the diodes D 1 and D 2 to output the floating clearance amount detection signal e o from the rail 1 for the running body.
