Vertical-shaft waterwheel or windmill having an arbitrary shield or lead body

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To obtain an efficient vertical-shaft water wheel or windmill, by providing an arbitrary shield or lead in front of the wheel and to the right or left from the center or on both right and left sides and fitting a directional rudder to the shield or lead in such a manner that it can rotate. CONSTITUTION: Arbitrary shield or lead 2 is provided in front of the vertical-shaft waterwheel or windmill and to the right or left from the center, or on both right and left sides. In this case, shield or lead 4 is provided on one side of wheel 3, and at the same time, directional rudder 6 is connected to wheel 3 by means of rotary unit 5 so as to rotate it around the wheel.
