Current collector for rolling stock

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To prevent the slip-off of the current collector from the feeder line by arranging slider plates of the current collectors adjacent to each other in zigzag form in a plane perpendicular to the feeder line and by providing guide plates made of insulator to the side parts of the slider plates. CONSTITUTION: The current collectors 5aW5c made contact with the feeder lines 4aW4c are coupled with the insulating board 18 through the bracket 9 and are supported by the car body. The current collector is composed of the slider plate 6, collector board 7, arm 8 and bracket 9 rotatably coupled with the arm 8. The respective boards 7aW7c are zigzag arranged in a plane perpendicular to the feeder line to avoid the interference of boards with each other. Also the guide plate 12 made of insulator is provided to one side or both sides of the collector board 7 to prevent the slip-off of the collector from the feeder. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
