Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To improve sensing ability by communicating an earthquake-proof- mechahism-interlocking-suction-and-discharge-valve with a discharge line and a diaphgram chamber. CONSTITUTION: Once an earthquake may occur at a specified seismic degree, a sensor 31 of a tremor sensing mechanism 19 comes off against attraction of a magnet 30 to lower a set plate 35 which turn a lock level 41 clockwise. A stopper 42 is released from a holder 46, having a lock lever 41 push the lower end of a hole 45 of a reset lever 44. The push and spring force is added on the reset lever 44 to turn clockwise through the axis of a shaft 43. Push on a valve rod 24 resulting prevents supply of a suction-and-discharge-valve 18 for a pipe 20 and opens a discharge port 27 which exhausts gas in a room 23 through a pipe 23. A spring force makes a diaphgram 67 move down, resulting a valve body 65 comes in contact with a valve seat 66 by pressure to close. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
