Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To provide uniform and accurate characteristics of a magnetoelectric transducer element while decreasing its manufacturing cost by coating a compound semiconductor thin film on a substrate, selectively conducting it by irradiating energy thereupon, and coating conductive resin only on the conducted portion. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor thin film 3 of monocrystal or polycrystal such as InSb, InAs, GaAs or InSb-NiSb, etc. is coated on a substrate 4 such as ferromagnetic substance or resin or the like by means of vapor, liquid or vacuum deposition. Then, flash or laser light is illuminated strongly selectively to the electrode portion a and a shorting bar portion b to thereby lower the specific resistance of the portions a and b to thus convert them into a conductor 2. Then, a conductive paste 1 having fine powder of Ag, Au, In and organic binder is coated only on the conducted portions, lead wires are mounted to the portion a, and the entirety is sealed by a molding agent 7, and a magnetic focusing chip 6 of permalloy ferrite or the like is buried thereunder as required.
