Liquid crystal display device
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To form a liquid display device which operates accurately under the low temperature condition by additively forming a temperature rising unit which is low in an applied voltage and short in temperature rising and also by providing a current heating element to the circumference part on a substrate without hindrance in display. CONSTITUTION: In a display unit which is formed of deflecting plates 11 and 12 arranged at right and left sides of clear glass substrates 1 and 2 where display electrodes 3 and 4 are provided and liquid crystal 7 is sealed, heating elements 8 and 9 are provided to the circumference part (without hindrance in display) of external flank faces of substrates 1 and 2 and their terminal parts are provided with electrode 10. The heating elements mentioned above are formed through a screen printing method by applying conductive paste to the required parts of substrates 1 and 2 and then calcining it for about 30 minutes at the temperature of approximate 500°C.
