Tape run position detection system
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To display a tape run position in the form of time from a start point by using a tape run speed detected in a fast-forward or rewind state and rotation cycles of a tape feed reel and take-up reel. CONSTITUTION: Rotation cycles of tape feed axis 1 and take-up axis 1' are detected by rotation cycle detection circuits 5 and 5'. On the other hand, a tape run speed can be obtained by tape run speed arithmetic circuit 7 through rotational-frequency arithmetic circuit 6 by turning tape run speed detection roller 2 in contact with a tape. Respective outputs of arithmetic circuits 5 and 5', and 7 are inputted to tape run position arithmetic circuit 8 and reel rotation cycles detected at an interval of Δτ in the same way and the tape run speed are similarly inputted to tape run position arithmetic circuit 8, where a tape run position obtained and then inputted to tape run speed display circuit 9. Tape run speed display circuit 9 displays the tape run position from the start point on a time unit. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
