Fish transfer device in fish pond

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To make intake of fishes practicable even at low water level, in such a way as feeding water back to inlet of the impeller pump, after separating the water from fishes by means of a solid-liquid separator. CONSTITUTION: Drive pump 2 with valve 16 of solid-liquid separator 15 closed and valve 6 of branch 5 opened. Then, water in fish pond 11 shall be ejected into ejection port 82 of jet case 81 through jet nozzle 84. This jet action will work in such a way as to absorb water and fishes into jet case 81, and pour them out of ejection port 82 together with water ejected from jet nozzle 84. In order to operate this equipment in reverse direction, pump out water in pond until its head drops to the defined level, then open valve 16 and close valve 6 afterward, so as to feed the separated water back to intake tube 3 through return hose 17. Thus, transfer of fishes may be practised by absorptive action of fish collecting tube 12 after water absorption of hose 9 is stopped. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
