Liquid fuel burner
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To eliminate improper combustion, by supplying air also from an ignition heater guide pipe into a burner. CONSTITUTION: The guide pipe 5 is secured in a wall of the burner 1 to guide an ignition heater 8 to the burner. An air hole 6 is opened through the bottom of the part of the guide pipe 5 located at the wall of the burner 1. Burning air is introduced by a blower 4 into a burner casing 3 so that the air flows into the burner 1 through primary air holes 11, mixed air holes 12 and secondary air holes 13. Ignition is caused on a suck-up wick 10 by the ignition heater 8 to start combustion. A part of the air flows into the guide pipe 5 through the air hole 6 to push evaporated fuel out of the guide pipe 5 into the burner 1. The part of the air then collides against the suck-up wick 10 to accelerate the combustion. This results in preventing the deterioration of the combustion near the guide pipe 5.
