Magneto power-generator for generating ignition signal

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To improve the vibration resistance and assembling property of an electricity generation coil, by movably fitting the coil in the center of an engine casing, shaping the coil integrally with a mount and providing a holding plate on a magnetism insulation plate to prevent the mount from dropping off. CONSTITUTION: The electricity generating coil 7 for ignition and a core 15 are held by the mount 18. A support arm 14 of insulating material is shaped integrally with the mount 18. The mount is rotatably fitted on the sliding surface 16a of a central projection of the engine casing 16. The holding plate 20 for preventing the mount 18 from dropping off is fixed on the magnetism insulation plate 19, which is placed on the top of the engine casing to cover the mount 18. The magnetism insulation plate 19 is a cylindrically drawn copper plate. A peripheral part 19a of the magnetism insulation plate 19 is secured by a screw 20. An ignition signal is produced by the electricity generation coil 7 and a permanent magnet 4. The coil 7 is swung by moving the support arm 14 to adjust the time of ignition.
