Hydrogen estimate analysis method in chlorine gas and its analysis unit
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To estimate the contained amount of hydrogen quickly with good accuracy, by carrying the measured gas on carrier gas, passing through it in the condensed tube cooling the chlorine gas containing hydrogen, and introducing it to gas chromatography after removing chlorine and water. CONSTITUTION: The condense tube 2 is cooled with the jar which is contained with coolant (liquid oxygen) 4 and made movable up and down, and the carrier gas of gas chromatography is N 2 . With the jar 3 down, the condense tube 2 is blown with carrier gas, and after stabling the gas charomatography 8, a given amount of gas is picked up in the sampler 1 by operating the valves 1a and 1b. Next, the jar 3 is lifted up and after immersing the condense tube 2 in the coolant 4, the valves 1a and 1b are selected. The tested gas in the sampler 1 is placed on the carrier gas to pass through it in the condense tube 2. Chlorine and water are removed with condensing, and it is fed to the gas chromatography 8 to estimate the amount of hydrogen. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
