Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To realize a miniature and simplified structure for the device by arraying the field luminous element row and the photoelectric converter of a uniform belt form on the same substrate and in the length of 1:1 correspondence to the original. CONSTITUTION: Change-over switch 16 is switched toward terminal 16b in the transmission mode. Field luminous elements 12 have light emission in sequence and with a fixed intensity to give scanning to one line of original 2. The reflected light is drawn out through photoelectric converter 21 in the form of the current change and then extracted from terminal 25 and via load resistance 22 in the form of the transmission picture signal. While in the reception mode, switch 16 is turned toward terminal 16c. Thus the luminance modulation optical output is obtained through elements 12 to carry out recording of the reception picture onto recording paper 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
