Combustion apparatus
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To accomplish reduction of preheating time and higher efficiency of heat recovery by specifying the method of supplying the secondary air. CONSTITUTION: A blowing chamber 11 is directly connected to the secondary air injection port 7a at the center of a burner head body 7 with one or more secondary air connecting pipes 10. With such an arrangement, fuel dropped on a cone from a feed pipe is dispersed into a vaporizing cylinder 5 and vaporized to be mixed with the primary air fed with a turbo fan 14 by means of an agitation blade 4 to form a combustible gas. Then, the gas is injected from the opening 9a of a keep plate 9 passing through the opening of a rectifying plate 6, a through hole 7c, the opening of a porous flame port plate 8 and mixed with the secondary air injected from the secondary air injection port 7a through a secondary air communicating pipe 10 from the blowing chamber 11 and burned. The pipe construction of the secondary air conduit allows the thickness thereof to be reduced extremely thereby shortening the preheating time considerably. In addition, as the flow of the secondary air is eliminated around the vaporizing cylinder 5, the cylinder is kept little cooled ensure sufficient heat recovery. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
