Sex attractant composition

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To provide a sex attractant which attracts male imagoes of lepidopteron more effectively than the known attractants, containing 11TDA, TDDA and novel 11-methyl-cis-9-12-tridecadienyl acetate as effective components. CONSTITUTION: An agent containing cis-11-tetradecenyl acetate (11TDA), cis-9- trans-12-tetradecadienyl acetate (TDDA) and 11-methyl-cis-9-12-tridecadienyl acetate (11-methyl TDA) as active components. The 11-methyl TDA has little sex attracting activity; however, it exhibits a strong activity by the combination with the 11TDA and TDDA. The agent pref. contains 0.1W1.5mg of the effective components composed of 10W25wt% of 11 TDA, 30W55wt% of TDDA and 20W 50wt% of 11-methyl TDA. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
