Type belt for printer

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To facilitate discrimination of reference pulse in a control circuit and also to facilitate discrimination of the kind of types on a type belt by adjusting only the height of reference pulse mark to be different from that of other address pulse mark. CONSTITUTION: In a type belt for printers for which the kind of each type can be discriminated by counting each pulse through generating a reference pulse correspondingly to the position for reference type on a belt 1 with various types arrayed longitudinally thereon and an address pulse correspondingly to the position for other types, an arrangement is such that the reference pulse can be discriminated through a simple control circuit by adjusting only the height of a reference pulse mark 2 given in the position for reference type to be different from that of an address pulse mark 3 given in the position for other types.
