Fly-back transformer

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To make the strain of a high-voltage coil uniform when the coil is impregnated with a molding resin and thus raise the reliability of the coil, by providing a cylindrical hollow holder around the coil and securing diodes on the holder. CONSTITUTION: A sectioned bobbin 6 is provided around an U-shaped core 5. A low-voltage coil 1 is wound around the bobbin 6. High-voltage section coils L 1 ∼L 4 are provided around cylindrical interlayer insulators 14∼17 which are made of polycarbonate resin or the like and located around the low-voltage coil 1. The diode holder 20 is mounted around the interlayer insulator 17. The diodes D, which are connected to the section coils L 1 ∼L 4 , are attached to the holder 20. Since the entire high-voltage coil is covered with the holder, the strain of the coil is made uniform when the coil is impregnated with the molding resin.
